Focused men's health and reconstructive urology.

My practice focuses on procedures where technical precision, counseling, and long-term function all matter: fertility restoration, contraception, erectile restoration, penile curvature, BPH procedures, varicocele care, and chronic scrotal pain surgery.

I bring fellowship training in andrology, infertility, and sexual medicine; academic practice at The University of Kansas Health System; and research experience in vasal reconstruction, testosterone, sexual medicine, and care delivery. The goal is not just to perform a procedure, but to match the operation to the patient's anatomy, goals, and risk tolerance.

Contraception

Vasectomy

Vasectomy is a minor outpatient procedure for permanent male contraception. The vas deferens are divided or sealed so sperm no longer enter the ejaculate. Follow-up semen testing remains essential before relying on it for contraception.

Microsurgery

Vasectomy Reversal

Reversal reconnects the reproductive tract using microsurgical techniques. Depending on intraoperative findings, this may involve vasovasostomy or the more specialized vasoepididymostomy. Counseling includes time since vasectomy, partner fertility, recovery, costs, and expected semen testing.

Erectile Restoration

Penile Implant Surgery

Penile implants are durable surgical options for erectile dysfunction when pills, injections, or other therapies are ineffective or not preferred. The operation is designed to restore dependable rigidity while preserving orgasm and ejaculation when those functions are otherwise intact.

Reconstruction

Peyronie's Reconstruction

Peyronie's disease can cause curvature, narrowing, shortening, pain, and sexual dysfunction. Treatment may include observation, traction, injections, plication, grafting, or implant-based reconstruction depending on disease stability, erection quality, curvature, and patient goals.

BPH Technology

Aquablation

Aquablation is a robotic, image-guided, heat-free waterjet procedure for benign prostatic hyperplasia. It is designed to remove obstructing prostate tissue while emphasizing precision and preservation of sexual function when anatomically appropriate.

Fertility

Varicocele

Varicoceles are enlarged veins around the testicle that can contribute to infertility, testicular discomfort, or abnormal semen parameters. Evaluation often includes physical exam, semen analysis, hormone assessment, and discussion of microsurgical repair when indicated.

Pain Surgery

Spermatic Cord Denervation

Microsurgical spermatic cord denervation is an option for carefully selected men with chronic testicular or spermatic cord pain, especially when diagnostic cord block suggests the pain pathway may respond to surgery.
